The fourth largest city in Malaysia which is located in the Kinta district. City of Ipoh is the state capital and the administrative center of Perak. "Ipoh" was named, in the conjunction of the "Ipoh tree" where is rubber is used as poison darts by the natives. "Ipoh" is divided into Old Town and New Town by the Kinta River for the past of 100 years ago. It is flanked by the Titiwangsa Range at the east and Mount Keledang at the west.

The city is very unique from other cities in Malaysia. It is surrounded by limestone hills offers a serene ambiance to the visitors. The design and the architectural features of buildings is still retaining the original colonial design and became a landmark to the city. Ipoh also known as food paradise as you can enjoy delicious and tempting cuisine from all races. Nowadays, Ipoh City has stepped forward and expanded its wing with the current developments of globalisation.

Ipoh Heritage Walk
Viewing 130 colonial buildings with its design is an experience that should-not-be-missed in Ipoh. The 2km walk circling part of Ipoh City start from the railway station which was built in 1917. The other famous ancient buildings are Ipoh Town Hall, Post Office, Ipoh High Court, Museum, Little India and many others.
